Private Message Notifications

This feature plays an in-game sound notification whenever you receive a private message, ensuring you never miss important conversations.

  1. Detects incoming private messages in the game chat
  2. Plays a notification sound automatically
  3. Works for all private messages received via /msg or similar commands

You can toggle this feature in the Settings:

  • Enabled: Plays a sound when you receive a private message
  • Disabled: No notification sounds (default Minecraft behavior)
  • Never Miss Messages: Get instant audio feedback when someone messages you
  • Better Communication: Stay responsive to your friends and teammates
  • Non-Intrusive: Uses in-game sounds that blend naturally with Minecraft
  • Always Active: Works in the background while you’re playing

Perfect for:

  • Playing with friends and coordinating strategies
  • Trading with other players
  • Participating in server events
  • Managing teams or parties
  • General communication without constantly checking chat

The notification sound is played using Minecraft’s built-in sound system, ensuring compatibility and minimal performance impact.

This feature only detects that you received a private message to trigger the sound. It does not log, store, or transmit the content of your messages.
