Auto Greet Friends

This feature automatically sends a private message to your friends when they join the server.

How it Works

Section titled “How it Works”
  1. Detects when a friend joins (messages with ❤ [FRIENDS] prefix)
  2. Extracts the friend’s username
  3. Sends your customized greeting via /msg

Custom Message

You can customize your greeting message with:

  • Maximum 77 characters (enforced automatically)
  • {FRIEND} placeholder for the friend’s name
  • Any friendly message you want

Example Messages

Hello {FRIEND}!
Hey {FRIEND}, good to see you!
Welcome back {FRIEND}!
{FRIEND} let's play together!

Message Template

The {FRIEND} placeholder will be automatically replaced with your friend’s actual username.

Example:

  • Your message: Hello {FRIEND}!
  • Friend joins: Steve
  • Sent message: /msg Steve Hello Steve!

Character Limit

Section titled “Character Limit”

The 77-character limit ensures your message doesn’t get cut off by Minecraft’s chat system. The proxy will automatically truncate longer messages to fit this limit.

Language Support

  • Works with Italian friend join messages
  • Works with English friend join messages
  • Automatically detects the “FRIENDS” prefix pattern

Privacy Note

Greetings are sent as private messages using /msg, so only you and your friend will see them.
